Sonia Munro

CEO

Sonia’s career was kick-started in finance with ABSA in 1985, followed by a highly successful tenure of 11 years at Rentokil International Pty(Ltd) in various leadership roles within senior management through the years, post which she founded the Craison Group of Companies in 1998.

With 29 years experience within the soft services industry and a strong background in finance, Business Management, Development and Marketing, the Craison Group delivers consistant customer and shareholder value.

Sonia continues to fulfil responsibilities in other directorship roles across the group.

Philip van Zyl

Chief Financial Officer

Professional Membership: SAIPA member since 1993

Philip has has been a director of various Companies since 1996, his experience in financial management and accounting stretches across the Property investment, Insurance and the Healthcare sectors, as well as the Zinc and galvanizing industry.  He has been involved with the Craison Group since 2011.

Qualification: Professional Accountant (SA) BCom Honours (Accounting) UNISA

 

Alan Munro

Chief Operations Officer – Craison Group

Alan has held various directorship positions from Operational to Commercial with Zinchem and Seakor Fertaliser from 1979 – 2013.  He has played a non-executive Strategic role in Craison since 2000 and has recently become more active in heading up group operations – Integrated Facilities Solutions.  Alan brings more than 35 years of strategic managerial experience to the Craison Executive Team.

 

Carel van Vuuren

Chief Information Officer

Callie has more than 30 years experience in the ICT Services and IT Management domains respectively.  He has held numerous leadership roles and served as senior consultant on various ICT related projects. He was also responsible for the first ever IS Awareness Framework for South Africa and assisted in the development of the Department of Defense's Information Security Directive Policy. Callie has also presented a number of lectures and strategic workshops locally and international addressing ICT Strategies, IT Investment Frameworks, Information Security and Cyber Crime Initiatives as well as developed specific course material and assessment criteria for ICT Development Programs. He has also furthered his studies through UNISA and The Rand Afrikaans University, currently known as UJ, as well as internationally acclaimed industry specific training which includes CompTIA, ISC2, Intel and Symantec

 

JP van der Merwe

Legal Council

JP is admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with Right of Appearance in the High Court of South Africa, he is also a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces.  He finished his articles of clerkship at Coetzer & Partners Attorneys under Fanus Coetzer as his mentor and principal.  JP has been involved in the Healthcare and Hygiene Industry since 2011.

Directorship: JP VAN DER MERWE ATTORNEYS INCORPORATED established in 2015

Qualification : LLB degree achieved at the University of Pretoria

 

 

Linda Gunter

Human Resources and Compliance Manager

Linda’s International and local experience within General and Human Resources Management gives her at least 15 years in the services sector, specializing in Hygiene, Pest Control, Healthcare and Bottled water operations.  Her current portfolio includes compliance, achievement of transformation objectives, development planning, Industrial relations, Human Capital Management and Corporate affairs. 

Qualification: BCom in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (UNISA) final year.

 

Carla Bester

National Sales Manager Integrated Facilities Solutions

With excellent leadership skills in leading a national sales team, together with 6 years’ experience within the Hygiene, Cleaning and Pest Management environment with the Servest Group, Carla recently joined the Craison Group in January 2016.  She plays a pivotal role in spearheading National Business Development at all levels, pertaining to Integrated Facilities Solutions aimed at aggressive growth objectives, while taking care of branding and marketing.

El-Jo Meyer

Operations Manager – Inland

El-Jo has been involved in the Hygiene industry at Craison since 2008, and therefore can boast extensive experience in managing soft services over the years.  Her passion for the operations and logistics environment, together with various leadership roles in Pest Management, Hygiene and Healthcare portfolios provides peace of mind in her ability to lead our operations for the inland region.

Qualification: Operations Management (varsity Business College) 2014

 

Craig Munro

Regional Operations Manager - Coastal

His management experience at Rentokil Pty Ltd from 1996-1998, specializing in various Soft Services, gave Craig a firm background to co-found the Craison Group.  His experience as a Senior Manager Operations at Craison since 1998 sees his experience in Hygiene, Healthcare and Pest Control in excess of 20 years.
